‘Megha’ is a film starring Namrata Shrestha, Siddhartha Koirala, Raymon Das Shrestha in the lead roles. The story is about “Megha” the protagonist played by Namrata who is hitched to Raymon in the movie.But the couple are not compatible for one another. Megha loaths her husband’s irresponsibility and care-free attitude which is effecting her married life. She is also career driven person who has responsibilities of her job, home and securing the future of her marriage. Raymon in the husband’s role is shown as uncompromising, and less compassionate with his spouse feelings and they have fit over small issues which otherwise could have been settled by compromise from each other.
In the professional front Megha is assigned with big responsibilities as an architect and gets charmed by Koirala’s character who is in the executive position of the company.During business trip Koirala falls for Megha but then her life derails after she has to choose between her spouse and her lover who are part of her life’s journey.Realizing the mistake, her husband tries to have her back again and rekindle their married life. Megha starts ignoring Koirala but it doesn’t get simple. Later, Megha tells her husband how he was incapable of becoming a father biologically and also vents from extra marital life with Koirala. She leaves them both and come to her father as a final decision.She is shown as courageous, independent individual who has control over her self and handles her life with dignity over the complexities with relationships.The lead actors have done their part well.Direction is good but it is stretched out where things get pale contextually.This is a social drama movie and is enjoyable for watching.
