Last week on Friday 7, 2017 two new Nepali movies were released and one of them was”Dhanapati’a movie starring Khagendra Lamichhane and Surakshya Panta.Khagendra has also written the script and story of this movie.His early films were ‘Talakjung Vs Tulke” and “Pashupati Prasad”.In this movie he is playing the character”Dhanapati” from a remote background who wants to give his daughter a quality education. He comes to Kathmandu in search for a job but refrains from politics.To earn a good income his quest leads him to the hands of miscreants from the political arena who wants to expose Dhanapati to fulfill their vested interest from him.He falls into the tyranny and how is dreams get shattered is shown from the movie”Dhanapati”.This movie is very much related to our society.
This movie was much awaited from Khagendra’s fans and it has started living up to their expectations by starting very well at the domestic box office.It was seen “Houseful” over the multiplexes and it collected over a crore in 2 days from 55 screenings.It is doing well in the silver screens also and the makers are satisfied from the way the film is raking the box office.Premier Show was held on Thursday a day before its release and had also gone well.Director Dipendra K.Khanal makes a hatrick with this movie.This movie is expected to do better in the coming days as viewed by trade pundits.We wish this movie bring lot of success.
