Garima Panta is a well known face in the film industry of Nepal. She started out her career through TV commercials like Aaha Noodles and is a trained dancer as well. Panta has the countenance of simplicity and elegance. She is known for the portrayal of emotional sensibilities in her acting and expressions. Garima started her acting career in a tele serial ‘Chahana Manko’. She is also a active as member in Youth Empowerment for social service (YESS) she has also aided the earthquake victims by giving helping hand for their shelter.

She is known for her generosity and her hard work. She is simple in her daily life she is not outspoken as she prefers to speak less and hear more, she is very emotional at heart. Her, hobbies are writing,playing badminton,reading, dancing and helping others.She has her own sets of likes and dislikes in her life, she likes being comfortable on her space, her regards for sensibilities of human beings are prominent so that is why she is a down to earth human being.

Garima received the critical acclamation and earned a ‘Best Actress” award in the SAARC film festival for her performance in the movie”Jhola’ as Kanchi that showcased the dire Sati system in Nepal and its hindrances.Some of her performances in films like Thuli,Teen Ghumti has proved her acting skills in our film industry.She is married to NRN Hari Sharma Thapaliya. She also owns a restaurant business.
